The 2020 Guinness 6 Nations Championship is set to be one of the most exciting tournaments in years as Ireland welcome Wales, Scotland & Italy to the Aviva Stadium. This championship will be a new dawn for Irish Rugby as they welcome a new captain as well as Andy Farrell as head coach.
Ireland host Scotland in the opening game of the tournament on Saturday, 1st February at the Aviva Stadium. The Scots have become a force to be reckoned with in Northern-Hemisphere rugby after producing the performance of the year against England at Twickenham in 2019, making this game one that’s not to be missed.
Next up will be the arrival of Grand Slam champions Wales to Dublin on Saturday, 8th February. Ireland will look to avenge the 25-7 defeat to Wales in the final game of the 2019 6 Nations in Cardiff when the Welsh completely outplayed Ireland in incredibly tough conditions.
The penultimate game of the tournament will be Ireland versus Italy on Saturday, 7th March. The Italians pushed Ireland all the way in Rome last year, but Ireland will be confident of a much more dominant display against the Azzurri at home.
